Lent Courses

If you are interested in exploring more about faith and joining in with some meaningful conversations please do come along to one of the Lent courses being held in the area.

This year's Lent course at St. Michael's will be 'Walking the Way of the Cross': time to think, time to talk and a time to pray as we follow Jesus to the cross.

The sessions will be held in the church at 7.45pm on these Thursdays: 27 February, 5 March, 12 March, 19 March and 26 March.

Contact the Church Office.

This year's Diocesan Lent course will be: 'Live Lent - Care for God's Creation' and will focus on environment issues.

The sessions will be held at St. John's Church at 7pm on these Tuesdays: 3 March, 10 March, 17 March, 24 March and 31 March.

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent.

Ashing reminds us, as Christians, to repent of our sins. Two services of Holy Communion and Ashing will be held at St. Michael's: at 9.30am and 8pm.
