• If you're new to St. Michael's, or if this is the first time you've visited the website, we're pleased you've found us! If you’ve been here before, we’re delighted you came back. A heartfelt welcome to you all.

OUT OF DARKNESS COMES LIGHT: HE IS OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, OUR HOPE AND GUIDING LIGHT

Back to Church sunday Service 10.15am and Facebook Live

Holy Communion - Every Sunday 10.15am

Morning Prayer - Every Wednesday 10.15am

We’d love to be in Church every day, but for the moment we have to leave 72 hours between services.

Be assured that we have all the measures in place to help protect the health and safety of everyone. You can read about them by clicking here.  While at the church, please follow the guidance given by clergy and stewards.

If you are shielding or clinically vulnerable

If you are shielding or clinically vulnerable and therefore can't join us, please let us know (scroll down for the contact numbers or e-mail us).  It’s important that we stay in contact with you, and you with us.

    Live streaming

If you can’t get to Church, we’re streaming our Sunday services on Facebook Live. You don’t need to download any software to see it – just search on the web for ‘Facebook St Michael's Myland’ and scroll down to see the service happening live.  Better still – just click here to go there.

We look forward to seeing you.  Everyone welcome!

In addition to our services in the church, Church will continue to happen in different ways: on WhatsApp, Zoom, Facebook and the telephone, and of course privately in many people's homes.

We also have a newsletter, which can be found by clicking here or by clicking on 'News' at the top of the page.  If you would like to receive one of these newsletters directly, please get in touch with Sarah King on the telephone number below.

You may also like to watch the Hayward's Hope videos on YouTube.  A new video is added every week, available 24/7.  If you are seeking hope, inspiration, comfort, guidance or an opportunity to pray and praise, then join in with the Hayward family - it's all there for you!

We continue to pray and care, and our staff can be contacted, as follows:

    Rev'd Ray Gibbs: 01206 843926
    Rev'd John Chandler: 01206 366930

Sarah King, Church Office Administrator: 07518 437488
    Lesley Hindle, Churchwarden: 07708 954990
    Jill Bollen, Churchwarden: 01206 851434

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We pray for those sick with the virus; for the doctors, nurses, health workers and other care givers, and all who support them in their work; and for those who are seeking ways to combat the spread of the virus. We pray too for those impacted in other ways: bereaved; worried about loved ones; frightened and alone at home; those who have lost their jobs or whose businesses have failed; and for the most vulnerable in our communities and those who care for them.

The Church of England supports the Government's approach of continuing to suppress the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) and recognises that at this time certain measures must be in place in the interests of public health and safety.  Whilst St. Michael's Church can now be open for public worship, Myland Parish Hall and The Community Room are not yet available for use.  All services (except those detailed on this page), groups, coffee mornings and other events remain suspended.

We continue to closely follow the instructions and guidance given to churches by the Church of England and by the UK Government.  For more information, please visit the following websites:
