Harvest Thanksgiving banner

We always enjoy celebrating the abundance of God’s creation, and every year we offer up our thanks to Him at our Harvest Thanksgiving service - otherwise known as Harvest Festival. This year's service will be held on Sunday 8th October (at our usual time of 10.15am).

Many people enjoy bringing gifts to the church to present during the service. We support the two charities Colchester Foodbank and Beacon House . If you would like to know more about these charities and the kinds of things they appreciate receiving, either click on their names above or use the menu links.

Our traditional Ploughman’s and Puds lunch follows the service at 12.30pm. Tickets are £10 (under 12s, £5) which includes the Ploughman’s lunch and an array of puddings, as well as wine and fruit juice.

If you couldn't make it in 2016, we do hope to see you at our Harvest Thanksgiving service and celebrations this year and of course, we have lots of different services and events throughout the year. In the meantime, please do look at the information about the two charities we support through our gifts of harvest parcels.
